I require a non-refundable booking fee (50% of your chosen package) at time of scheduling to secure your session date; remainder is due on your session day. If booking less than a week ahead, full payment must be made at time of booking. Time is valuable for all! Payment method preferred is Venmo (@snugshotsphotography). 6% sales taxes are added on to each package.
Sessions are to be bound by contract. If you MUST cancel, please provide a notice with a minimum of 48 hours prior to scheduled photoshoot. One rescheduling per client allowed, no exceptions. Mini sessions advised to show up 15 minutes early - latecomers will not go past scheduled shoot time.
Client wardrobe always available at no additional cost. These are infant sizes up to 18 months. MOST are newborn size but bigger sizes can always be clipped back to fit smaller bodies. I can provide outfits available for siblings to wear upon request. You are more than welcome to send over wardrobe ideas for your photoshoot if you need help deciding on what will go together.
Image Use & Model Release. The Photographer retains the right to use all images captured during the session for portfolio display, marketing, advertising, and social media purposes.
Clients who do not wish to have images shared, prefer faces not be shown, or do not want to be tagged must provide written notice at the time of booking. If no such request is made, consent is assumed.

FAQ
How do you photograph newborns? Do you allow pets?
PATIENCE, white noise, and a full tummy are key! My goal is to capture the tiny details that make your baby’s very first photos unique—the yawns, the toes, and those sweet, sleepy expressions. Safely positioning newborns for these aesthetic images is not something just anyone should do, which is why I am SAFETY-CERTIFIED in newborn posing through renowned portrait photographer and industry expert Kelly Brown. This certification ensures your baby’s comfort and well-being are always the top priority while preserving these precious moments. Please dress baby in something easily removable and specify whether you would prefer facial features be blurred out or not on social media. Gallery access is password/e-mail protected. PLEASE BE ADVISED THE STUDIO WILL BE KEPT VERY WARM for newborn sessions since they cannot regulate their own temperature. Feel free to dress in layers.
I work independently during sessions; however, parents are expected to act as a spotter when needed, following clear and precise instructions to ensure your baby’s safety at all times. If there is more than one newborn in the session, please plan to bring an extra support person per newborn.
Pets are not permitted in the studio unless it is for medical reasons-- under this circumstance only. I do have dogs, but they do not come in my studio. Service animals will be restricted to the sitting area only. While your animals may be beloved and well-behaved, they can be unpredictable in unfamiliar environments. Additionally, pets are not allowed for sanitary and safety reasons.
How many pictures will we receive?
For a regular shoot, you will receive a minimum of 10 fully edited images. For mini sessions, you will receive a minimum of 5 fully edited images with the option to purchase add-ons. I always choose quality rather than quantity.
What can I expect for a newborn shoot?
I am completely flexible with timing for these, because time cannot be predicted when trying to get babies in certain poses whilst also random wake periods or feeding times. I recommend scheduling ASAP, especially within the first few weeks of birth, when baby is sleepiest. If you need to take breaks to feed baby, please do so without hesitation! The studio will be on the warmer side and white noise will be playing. Try to feed baby just before the shoot to ensure a full tummy and deeper sleep. It makes it much easier to work with 😊 Sessions typically take about 1.5-2 hours, depending on baby's wake times.
I can accommodate mornings, afternoons, or even evenings. Since I do have a handful of children (literally!), I will typically need at least one day's notice to schedule my own childcare if needed.
If you plan to bring a support person, you must disclose so prior to the session so that they may also sign the contract. If they are disruptive, they will be asked to leave. Please throw away any outside trash you bring in with you (beverages, food trash etc.) and do not leave them for me to pick up.
Where are you based and do you travel?
Located just minutes from I-81, my studio is in my home in Bunker Hill, West Virginia. I am just miles from the Virginia state line, between Inwood and Clearbrook. I do not currently offer traveling for studio shoots.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all of your photos within maximum 6 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story).
You can download all the photos from the gallery as well as share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints! Please tag my social media if you choose to share your images online.
